Supporting Employees and Ensuring Product Inventory: The Latest Dunstone Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
March 13, 2020
As we monitor ongoing developments and safety information related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Dustone will continue to follow the guidelines from public health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We have our own operational preparedness plan to ensure business continuity while simultaneously working to protect the well-being of our customers and our colleagues.
An Update for Dunstone Employees
Our public health officials have explained that there is a good chance that many people will eventually get the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Many of those who have it may not even realize they have it, or have very minor reactions if any. Unfortunately, those without symptoms can still easily spread the disease to others that are more vulnerable, such as those with underlying medical conditions or the elderly.
In order to slow the propagation of the disease (and assure our medical institutions are not overwhelmed), we are asking all our employees to do their part in practicing good medical hygiene, including not coming to work if you show any signs of illness. All non-essential business travel should be delayed until after April 3rd.
A Supply Chain Update for Our Customers
For our standard stock items, we currently have more than adequate inventory levels to address our customer needs over the next few months, especially those from overseas. We also have taken the added steps of having additional shipments in route and scheduled to make sure we maintain adequate inventories in the event of any potential supply disruptions.
Have any questions about our lead times and your product delivery? Be sure to reach out to our team.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and evaluate the need for additional measures to support our customers, colleagues and communities if those needs arise. For additional information about COVID-19, get the latest report from the CDC at cdc.gov or your local health department.
